Following the decision of the Administrative Committee dated 14 February 2025, Mr Addick A.G. Land (NL) has been appointed to the Court as of 17 March 2025.  His technical expertise is in electricity, physics and mechanics. 

Before taking up his duties, Mr Land shall take an oath in open court, in accordance with Article 6 of the Statute of the Unified Patent Court.

For this purpose, open court session will take place on Wednesday, 19 March 2025 at 09:30. The adress of the event is Prinses Beatrixlaan 2, 2595 AL, The Hague, The Netherlands.

Following the same recruitment procedure, appointments in further technical fields, depending on the needs of the Court, are currently taking place. More information will be communicated in due time.

Additionally, the Court announces that the following TQJ, M Patrice Vidon (FR), has retired, effective 1 January 2025.
