The Unified Patent Court provides more information on the start of the 2nd Sunrise Practice Period from February 13 until February 24, 2023 The Unified Patent Court invites external users to practice the CMS Sunrise functionalities starting from 13 February, for a period of 2 weeks, until 24 February 2023. The Unified Patent Court invites external users to practice the CMS Sunrise functionalities starting from 13 February, for a period of 2 weeks, until 24 February 2023.All tests will be carried out in the CMS test environment. This environment is a copy of the CMS production environment that will be launched when the Sunrise period starts.Users can access the test environment as of 13 February using this link:https://cerus.unified-patent-court.org/loginThe aim of the CMS practice period is to ensure that the CMS fits into the real world environment. In addition, it will allow users to test all Sunrise CMS functionalities and confirm that all system components operate together and comply with legal and business requirements.The UPC IT team will provide support to external users during this practice period. In case of needed support, users can send their requests using the contact form which is available on the UPC website: https://www.unified-patent-court.org/en/contact. Only requests received via this form on the website will be taken into account.Please note that the support will be strictly limited to IT issues and the UPC IT team will deliver support to the best of their abilities and capacities.In order to send a request related to the second Sunrise Practice Period, please select, in the contact form, the type of enquiry “CMS SUNRISE PRACTICE – IT ISSUE”.In the message box, please include the following information:Test case description;Expected results;Version of the CMS.Please note that:The strong authentication is activated in the CMS test environment. Users will need to use this functionality to connect as of 13 February. We will publish a user guide on the UPC website describing how to create an account using strong authentication.Users will need to create a new user account to test the CMS functionalities as of 13 February.Users should not provide real data or real documents when testing CMS functionalities during the second Sunrise Practice Period.The CMS test environment has been refreshed, hence all accounts and associated data have been erased from the database.The check of documents type uploaded will be activated. Only documents of type PDF/A will be accepted.The check of uploaded documents signature will be activated.
