Court Court of First Instance Judge Full Bio Marjolein Visser studied law at the Universities of Groningen (The Netherlands) and Kingston (Canada). After working as a lawyer in private practice since 2001, she joined the Judiciary in 2004, where she worked as a judge in the civil law and criminal law sections of the District Courts of Rotterdam and The Hague. In 2018, Marjolein joined the Intellectual Property section of the District Court of The Hague, working on patent and other IP cases. In 2018 she completed the legal components of the professional education of patent attorneys in The Netherlands. In March 2025, Marjolein was appointed as legally qualified judge in the Central Division in Paris.
