According to Article 6 UPC Statute and Article 25 of the Service Regulations,  judges shall take an oath in open court before taking up their duties. 

Today, in Milan, Ms Anna-Lena Klein and Ms Marije Knijff took oath in open court before the Presiding judge of the Milan central division, Mr Andrea Postiglione. 

At the ceremony were also present Mr Klaus Grabinski, President of the Court of Appeal, Ms Florence Butin, the President of the Court of First Instance, Mr Alexander Ramsay, the Registrar of the UPC, as well as the Presiding judge of local division Milan, Mr Pierluigi Perrotti and Ms Alima Zana, judge at local division Milan.
