Oath taking of newly appointed technically qualified judges (TQJs) of Unified Patent Court Mr Johannes Mesa Pascasio, Mr Steven Richard Kitchen, Mr Torsten Duhme, Mr Michael Quittkat, Mr Christian Keller, Mr Oliver Werner, Mr Jochen Thomas and Mr Christoph Norrenbrock took their oath According to Article 6 UPC Statute and Article 25 of the Service Regulations, judges shall take an oath in open court before taking up their duties.In this respect, the following ceremonies took place:On 1 July, Mr Johannes Mesa Pascasio took oath in open court before the Presiding Judge of the Vienna local division, Mr Walter Schober. At the ceremony were also present Mr Klaus Loibner (TQJ) and Ms Katrin Stüber (clerk).Image On 2 July, Mr Steven Richard Kitchen took oath before the Presiding Judge of the Copenhagen local division, Mr Peter Agergaard. Ms Freja Skibsted (clerk), Ms Pernille Larsen (clerk) and Gert Larsen (Local Manager) were also present at the ceremony.Image On 3 July, Mr Torsten Duhme took oath before the Presiding Judge of the Mannheim local division, Mr Peter Tochtermann. Image On 4 July, Mr Michael Quittkat, Mr Christian Keller, Mr Oliver Werner and Mr Jochen Thomas took oath before the Presiding Judge of the Munich local division, Mr Matthias Zigann.Image On 15 July, Mr Christoph Norrenbrock took oath before the Judge of the Hamburg local division, Mr Stefan Schilling.
