The Training Centre of the Unified Patent Court (Centre) is the central institution managing the training framework of the UPC, established by Article 19 of the UPC Agreement. The main goal of the Centre is to continuously improve and increase available patent litigation expertise across a wide geographic spectrum, by fostering the exchange of expertise and by establishing a forum for discussion. To this end, the Centre is expected to organise courses, conferences, seminars, workshops and symposia, cooperate with international organisations and education institutes in the field of IP, and promote and support further vocational training. Furthermore, the Centre will contribute to the dissemination of knowledge related the Court's practice by facilitating cooperation and exchanges between all relevant stakeholders.
