Full Bio Steven Richard Kitchen has been appointed to the Unified Patent Court in June 2024. His technical focus is in the fields of electricity and physics. Professional Experience in Intellectual Property Steven draws on experience from both patent firms and the industry. His practice has focused on all aspects of patent life cycle and portfolio management with a special emphasis on patent strategy and post-grant proceedings within a broad range of technologies, including electronics, software, optics, telecommunication, sensor systems, micromechanics, and wind turbine technology. Steven has substantial experience with opposition and appeal proceedings at the EPO and has participated in more than 250 oral proceedings.
