Professional Experience From 1997 until present, Marc works as a patent examiner and legal advisor at The Netherlands Patent Office. He is chairman of patent revocation proceedings.From 2008 until present, he regularly serves as honorary judge ('raadsheer-plaatsvervanger') at The Hague Court of Appeal in patent infringement and revocation cases.Marc received a doctor degree of Delft University of Technology in 1997 for his thesis on the micromechanical modelling of hydrogen attack.He received a doctor degree of Utrecht University in 2020 for his thesis on property law aspects of patents.From 2000 until present, Marc teaches property law and international private law at SBO/CPO.
